Who is FPIN?
FPIN is a non-profit consortium of family physicians dedicated to independently answering clinician’s questions with the best possible evidence, without the bias of industry support.
FPIN has a newer way to get evidence-based information for our practices. The Evidence-Based Practice (EBP) newsletter provides concise answers to real clinical questions, utilizing the best available evidence and presenting it in an easy-to-read format. Each issue of EBP also offers the opportunity for you to earn up to three hours of CME credit.
FPIN is comprised of the family medicine departments and residency programs working closely with other family medicine organizations. FPIN was conceived from the need for family physicians to have better and more usable clinical information. The clinical questions are nominated by practicing physicians, and the authors and editors convey their tenure and expertise in the field of family medicine in their concise, best-evidence-based answers.
We don’t just summarize individual studies – we provide answers.
Many of us subscribe to clinical newsletters anyway; so why not subscribe to a newsletter that is produced for and by family physicians that is evidence-based and easy to use?
