It is conference time for FPIN…
We are gearing up for an exciting conference season that will begin at the
Residency Program Solutions Conference at Kansas City’s Hyatt Regency Crown Center on March 30. 
FPIN will be presenting 60-minute workshop sessions on PEPID and HelpDesk Answers (twice each).

Sunday, March 30
 9:15-10:15 a.m.
Meeting RRC Scholarship through Accessible Publication – HelpDesk Answers

Monday, March 31
9:15-10:15 a.m.
Meeting RRC Scholarship through Accessible Publication – HelpDesk Answers

10:30-11:30 a.m. and again at 2:15-3:15 p.m.
Scholarly Activity for Students, Residents, and Faculty Using Point-of-Care
Evidence-based Medicine – PEPID

During these sessions, attendees will learn about the respective projects and review
how to write for the publications. 

Post-Conference - FPIN Workshop
Immediately following the RPS conference, FPIN will hold a special post-conference on building scholarship and mentoring.  These workshops will build upon the information presented during the RPS workshop sessions mentioned above.  If you are interested in attending, please contact Heather at heather@fpin.org
The cost is $75. 


Areas of Concentration Increase Scholarly Activity:
A 15-month Experience

In the February 2008 issue of Family Medicine , published by STFM*, Brian Crownover, MD, and Paul Crawford, MD make case for adopting the Association of Family Medicine Residency Directors’ (AFMRD) Areas of Concentration (AOC) proposal. 
10 of the 12 scholarly projects cited in the article were FPIN Clinical Inquiries.
