Faculty, fellows and residents in Family Physicians Inquiries Network (FPIN) departments or residency programs have established an unprecedented track record of faculty scholarship and resident research. FPIN members have published over 2,000 manuscripts in the past 7 years, including nearly 500 structured, evidence-based reviews answering clinical questions from practice. Many were first-time authors; dozens have become FPIN editors and many more have served as co-author mentors. We are excited to offer a 3-hour post-conference workshop during which attendees may choose two of the following training modules:
-
Growing a Clinical Scholarship Program
-
PEPID: An Electronic Publication for Mentored Students and Residents
-
HelpDesk Answers: A Publication for Resident Scholarship
-
Clinical Inquiries: A Program for Faculty Development
-
Editorial Leadership-Developing Mentors
The cost of the workshop includes lunch and presentation material for participants to take back to their program. Pre-registration is required. Cost: $75
