The purpose of the FPIN Information Delivery System Team is to facilitate communication, to encourage development of independent research addressing technical problems confronting the FPIN community in achieving our performance objective of answering 80% of questions within 60 seconds at the point of care, to facilitate collaboration and coordination of such research, and to provide expert advice and direction in the areas of .........computer science, clinical medicine, library science and medical informatics and coordination of research efforts related to the development of all Information Delivery Systems with the FPIN consortium.
The FPIN consortium is committed to facilitating the research of independent investigators who are addressing issues germane to the FPIN mission; lays no claim to intellectual property, trademark or copyright for products developed through independent research; and supports the principal of open access to software developed by independent researchers.
