Mon Mar 29, 2010 7:00 PM
Faculty and residents in Family Physicians Inquiries Network (FPIN) departments or residency programs have established an unprecedented track record of faculty scholarship and resident research. FPIN members have published over 2,500 manuscripts in the past 8 years, including nearly 600 structured, evidence-based reviews answering clinical questions submitted by practicing clinicians. Many writers were first time authors; dozens have become FPIN editors and many more have served as co-author mentors or peer reviewers. The presenting faculty will share proven methods and skill development strategies for those interested in promoting scholarly activity via FPIN participation.
We are excited to offer a 2-hour workshop during which attendees may choose one the following training modules:
eMedRef: Fast-track point of care topic reviews
HelpDesk Answers: Concise answers to physicians’ clinical questions
Cost: $65, including materials. Pre-registration is required.
