    PURLs Overview

    How are PURLs different from the thousands of medical research studies published?
    PURLs (Priority Updates from the Research Literature) distill the literature to those few articles that are relevant, practice-changing, and able to be implemented immediately.  The pages found is this section of the website will give you a more detailed overview of the project. 

    What are PURLs?

    PURLs are the newest evidenced based research opportunity through the Family Physicians Inquiries Network.  This section will provide you with a high level view of the project’s system and how PURLs are determined.

    Diving for PURLs

    The Diving for PURLs section will further expand upon the question posed above and explain further how the PURLs review is different than other surveillance systems new evidenced based findings.

    Getting Involved with PURLs

    There are currently 3 roles that will provide an opportunity for physicians and researchers to become involved in the PURLs project.  This section will briefly outline the objective of each role and the time commitment involved.

    FAQs about the PURLs Project
