    Tonya Wolff     tonya@fpin.org

    Tonya Wolff is our Executive Director and has been with the FPIN organization since 2001.  Before joining FPIN, Tonya provided administrative leadership to residency and fellowships programs in a variety of specialties at the University of Missouri.  She holds a Bachelors degree in Human Resources Management and a Masters degree in Organizational Design and Leadership from the University of Missouri.

     

    As our team building leader, Tonya has an innate talent for finding strengths in others and a passion for developing those to the greater good of the organization and our team members.  When she is not helping the rest of the FPIN organization save the world, Tonya is active in the community through her church and rotary club, as well as serving on the boards of other non-profit organizations.

     
    Cortni Cross     cortni@fpin.org

    Cortni Cross is our Director of Operations and PURLs Project Manager and has been with FPIN since 2002. Cortni has over 12 years of experience with startup organizations including healthcare education businesses. Combined with her past experience she brings her Bachelors in Business Administration and Human Resources to FPIN. Cortni is our logistics administrator; she keeps close track of the ins and outs of FPIN and assists where she's needed. If you have an FPIN question and you aren't sure who to ask, she's the one.

     

    In her spare time, Cortni can be found fishing, swimming and enjoying the outdoors with her husband Jim and son Cameron. She also uses her passion for organization to help with fundraiser 5K races and other special events.

     

     

     
     
    Andrea Lisenby     andrea@fpin.org

    Andrea Lisenby is our Membership Manager. In addition to overseeing FPIN implementation at member programs, she plans our conferences and newsletters. Before joining the FPIN team in April 2008, Andrea managed the Quality Improvement department at a large blood center in Chicago. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Microbiology with a minor in Chemistry from the University of Illinois. 

                                                                                              

    Andrea is our artist. She polishes everything to look and sound just right. She has been a welcomed addition to our team, with her light-hearted nature and cooperative attitude. Andrea has a divine gift for creating gorgeous jewelry pieces...the perfect outlet for her creative genius. When not in the office or art studio, Andrea can be found running on one of the beautiful trails in Columbia!

     

     

     
     
    Genny Jacks     genny@fpin.org

    Genny Jacks is our HelpDesk Answer Project Manager.  She comes to FPIN with 20+ years of nation-wide healthcare strategy consulting experience. She earned her MBA at Washington University in St. Louis, MO; her undergraduate degree is from the University of Missouri.  Genny is keenly focused on the dissemination of evidence-based medicine through our monthly Evidence-Based Practice journal. Through her work with the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation and other health policy clients, Genny came to appreciate the challenges of advancing EBM.   

     

    With three grown daughters, Genny now has time to travel and pursue her passions: gardening, cooking, reading, following world-wide news on the internet, and taking long walks with her welsh terrier.   Whether you are the HDA Champion, a faculty advisor, or resident, contact Genny to get answers to your questions and to clear roadblocks for your publications. Our goal is to see your name in print soon, and Genny is here to make sure it happens.

     
     
    Denise Hooton     denise@fpin.org

    Denise Hooton is our eMedRef Project Manager.  Before joining FPIN, Denise worked in the human resources department for a major healthcare software company, a rehabilitation hospital and a greeting card company.   She holds a Bachelor’s degree in accounting from Columbia College.

     

    Denise is the ringleader and coordinator of all team events, ensuring that the office is always running smoothly.  She is the welcoming voice you hear on the phone.  Denise enjoys spending her time with her husband and three children, Landon, Rileigh and Tatum.  Her new found passion is golf.

     

     

     
     
    Joan Nashelsky     joan@fpin.org

    Joan Nashelsky is the Clinical Inquiries Librarian Editor.  She has a master’s degree in library and information science and years of experience in medical librarianship. At the University of Nebraska Medical Center she worked on a grant-funded project between the Department of Family Practice and the McGoogan Library of Medicine to set up and supplement small medical libraries around the state. She then managed the departmental library in Family and Community Medicine at the University of Missouri and later worked as a clinical librarian for the Family Medicine residents at the University of New Mexico. She has co-authored a number of Clinical Inquiries as well as other articles.

     

    Joan is our connector.  While working from afar, she keeps all the FPIN Librarians connected to the team. Joan has worked with FPIN and the Librarians for the past eight years and is an invaluable part of our history. In her “spare” time she likes to run, take classes at a local fitness center, sew and knit, without excelling at any of these endeavors.

     
     
    LuShawna Romeo     lushawna@fpin.org

    LuShawna Romeo leads our Public Relations & Web Strategies activities.  Before becoming a member of the FPIN team, LuShawna provided business strategy, marketing, and sales management support for many Fortune 500 companies and start-up endeavors spanning across a spectrum of industries including publishing, software, internet marketing, holistic health, early childhood education, and real estate. 

     

    LuShawna’s extensive background in business, along with her commitment to the health and wellness of communities, gives her a perfect foundation for her work here at FPIN.  LuShawna has a lot of creative energy, initiative, and natural skills in strategy, which lend her very well in her role here.  She is responsible for initiating innovative solutions to improve service, efficiency, and brand recognition throughout the network and the discipline.  LuShawna and her husband Rob also keep themselves quite busy with their teenage daughter, Amberlin, a competitive cheerleader, and their teenage son, Justin, an aspiring rock star.
